My purpose is to give each individual client the service & treatment that their body structure will require, to follow the NCBTMB code of ethics and standards, and to obtain a positive, satisfied outcome. When working with clients, I feel it is important to address the whole person: physically, emotionally and spiritually. People respond to stress in many different ways. Some people hold tension in their bodies while others may get depressed or feel anxious.
Upon your arrival, you will fill out a short health information form. Next, I will take a few minutes to perform a personal assessment before your session begins. Confidentiality is an important part of my code of ethics. Your personal health history and session information will remain confidential. I will NOT share your information with anyone. However, your health history is your property and can be sent to another health professional at your written request.
I will work with you to customize your massage therapy session according to your individual needs. You are unique, and your massage experience is uniquely designed, just for you. As part of your personal assessment, I will accompany you into the therapy room and explain in detail what you can expect during your session. The atmosphere in the therapy room is calm and relaxing. There is soft lighting, gentle music (if you prefer), and a comfortable massage table covered in fresh, clean linens. I will then exit the therapy room so you may dress down to your desired comfort level in privacy. I can assure that you will be professionally draped throughout your entire session.
